Just starting to read "What do we do and why do we do it?" by Emily Ford from In the Library with the Lead Pipe. Thinking about the line: "The library community should develop a philosophy of librarianship. In order to do so the community should engage in a dialogue about what we do and why we do it." I agree, and I am thinking we should also add to the questions of "what we do," "why we do it," and "what we can do" with WHAT WE COULD DO and WHAT WE WILL DO!
